It has become abundantly clear that traditional medication delivery methods such as tablets and injections are no longer generating effective health outcomes without causing additional and sometimes fatal side effects.

Problems with swallowing, med compliance and adherence are health-related negative side effects from those with Central Nervous System disorders, liver toxicity levels, and gastrointestinal irritation have contributed to the development of safer and more effective delivery systems, such as orally-dissolved films.

PharMedica is a privately held company, specializing in the biotech, wellness and medical device industries. We develop innovative polymer-based products for optimal delivery of bio-active substances. PharMedica’s products are based on our patented orally-dissolved films (ODF), enabling the sustained and controlled release of bio-active substances (drugs, nutraceuticals, vitamins, cosmetics etc.) into the oral cavity.

To date, we have engaged in several agreements and are actively pursuing additional relationships with world-renowned companies in pharmaceuticals, plant-extracts, food supplements and flavors and with leaders in distribution and marketing channels to expand our development and marketing capabilities. Our existing and prospective relationships focus on co-development activities, bio-active substance licensing, and distribution, sales and marketing.

PharMedica is in the process of commercializing its ready-for-market products while also expanding its product lines.
